Art is important!
Artistic expression is particularly important to the youth and their development. Learning to tap into their creativity and utilize their talents; gives the Youth the tools to use their Voice! Art assists in building their confidence to tell their stories and perspectives; individually and collectively. We as a community must support these young artists and their creativity! We must salute the efforts of those that directly, ‘roll up their sleeves’ and try to share and teach the children; by giving their time, their energy and love.
Shawn Alleyne / Pyroglyphics Studio has partnered with Free Libraries of Philadelphia to bring FREE workshops to area youth. Basic comic book art, storytelling and more will be covered. If you are in the area and know of any youth that would love the experience, you must pre-register at one of the locations below:
